, this photo was taken in Cotignac, a village in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. The key features that identify it are: The Cliff (Le Rocher): Cotignac is famous for being built at the base of a spectacular tufa cliff, which you can see rising directly behind the buildings. Provençal Architecture: The buildings, with their warm ochre and peach-colored facades and pastel blue shutters, are characteristic of the villages in this region of Provence.
